Like two seconds after he hugs Bilbo he pushes him away and goes “I-I-I didn’t mean it like THAT! It’s just because you were stupid!!!!”

He totally only yelled at Bilbo after the falling-off-a-cliff-during-a-rock-monster-fight incident because for a moment there he was really scared for him and Thorin only knows how to process emotions by singing or yelling.
